Cade: 8 years old, 3rd Grade

Dear Cade-
You love to be funny, and you are.
You have so much character. Sometimes you just crack me up.
You care a lot about what people think of you.
You love to tease.
You love scouts.
You love to explore outdoors.
You love to sharpen sticks to make spears.
You love to watch a show on tv called "Survival Man" that shows how a guy has to survive
in the wild without supplies (or something like that).
You like to watch "Billy the Exterminator".
You love snakes.
You grew indian corn next to our garden. You got the seeds from a friend
and were excited to see that they actually did grow.
You like animals. (Your mom is mean and won't let you have a dog).
You started playing soccer this year and scored your first goal today. (Sept. 15)
You like the soccer games, but don't love the practices.
You love your baby sister too.
You are working on showing us that you can be responsible
so you can get a bb gun. You have made a chart for yourself.
You are motivated by money.
You are always wanting to build something.
You sometimes wrestle with your brother (usually on Sundays).
You are wonderful.

Courtney: 10 years old (almost 11) , going on 16, 5th Grade

Dear Courtney:
You are such a great help to me.
You make your own lunches.
You have been getting up at 6:30 to shower almost every morning and try to
get a lot of your stuff done before school so you can hang out with
friends soon after school gets out.
You keep putting eye shadow on even when I tell you not to.
I keep telling you that I didn't wear make up until I was in 9th grade,
but it doesn't seem to matter to you.
You love to have me curl your hair with the spiral curling iron.
You love clothes.
You love to get into my closet and wear my clothes.
You love to hang out with friends.
You are discovering boys.
You are taking piano lessons again. (We tried
when you were younger and it didn't work so well).
You don't want to practice piano, but know that you have to
to be able to hang out with friends (mean mom).
You love tumbling and just recently switched gyms.
You are so good to your sisters.
You got a pet fish this year.
You just lost your last tooth. Maybe you'll get braces before Caleb, because
you lost them faster than him.
You like to say "Boo Ya!"
You have an awesome laugh.
You are the bomb.

Camryn- 5 years old, Kindergarden

Dear Camryn:
You LOVE school.
You love to play with friends.
You hold your own around our house.
You've always acted older than you are.
You could do a back hand spring when you were 4.
You had a crazy drive to learn to tumble.
Your sister and I helped you learn how.
You love the bling.
You were shy your first day of kindergarden, but that soon went away.
You loved your preschool teacher and still talk about going over to see her.
You were actually very brave at the dentist recently when you got your first fillings.
You love your new red skinny jeans.
You would rather have me win a game than you because you don't want me to feel bad.
You have been getting scared at night and wanting to make sure the doors are locked.
You like to play "teacher".
Today you told me that when you grow up you want to be a mom and someone who teaches gymnastics or tumbling (I don't remember which).
You are spunky.
You are fun.
You are very animated when you talk.
You like it when your sister paints your nails.
You are extraordinary.

Cali: 1 Year Old
She loved this shoot. Can you tell?

Dear Cali-
You stole our hearts the minute we layed eyes on you.
It seems like you came out with a smile and have been smiling ever since.
You are a ray of sunshine.
You are walking and starting to get into mischief.
You have us all wrapped around your little finger.
We love to see you first thing in the morning.
Sometimes the kids run to your room when they hear you are waking up in the morning.
You love your daddy and smile so big at him when he gets home from work.
You are a little bit of a picky eater.
You love bananas.
I have hardly ever put shoes on you. I hope you can walk when I do.
I'm trying as hard as I can to keep you a baby.
You are already getting your second molar in.
You are getting to be pretty naught for pictures. Ok, you do pretty well, I just
exhaust you.
You have had MANY photo shoots in your life.
You put everything in your mouth STILL, which stresses us all out.
We can't get enough of you. EVER.
You get kissed A LOT.
From looking at some of the images below, we can
conclude that you were a little naughty
for this photo shoot, and I think you might know karate even though
I've never taught you.
